Considering and engaging in therapy can take a lot of courage. I believe in meeting a person where they are at, and working to help one feel heard, supported and understood. This therapy offers a kind, safe and supportive environment. It’s important a person has a voice in their treatment. I believe the therapeutic relationship can help one heal, cope with and overcome challenging life obstacles.
I’m trained to provide an evidence-based treatment for treating trauma, called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work to have an integrative approach using therapeutic models that include forms of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I have 26 years of experience working with conditions that include anger, trauma/adversity, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. I have also worked with various addictions, co-occurring problems, and character concerns, such as those on a personality disorder spectrum, Bipolar Depression and Schizophrenia spectrum. I work with those between ages 16 to elderly. Please reach out via email or phone if interested, and I will give you a call.
