Jeanne Forbes, LICSW
My approach is person centered and collaborative, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine human connection—one rooted in trust, compassion, and the freedom to show up as you are. For more than twenty years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families across a variety of settings. My experience includes supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, disability and special needs, adoption, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also bring specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help build skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships.
Throughout my career, I’ve been continually inspired by the resilience people carry, even when they can’t see it themselves. My role is to provide a steady, compassionate environment where you can explore your experiences and discover new ways forward.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with MSW and MPH degrees from the University of Minnesota. I am licensed in Minnesota and Arizona.
